Caddihoe Camp - November 2006
Back in November a small group of scouts went to Caddihoe for a camp. this is a test text not in use Some of the things they learnt to do whilst there were, how to cook on a camp stove and make a camp fire. They had a quiz, lots of walks, played wide games and even made a camp fire in the evening. They got to toast marshmallows on the camp fire, thanks to one of the young leaders (Ian) that came. The weekend was organised with the help of the other young leader that helps out on Fridays Damien. On the Sunday they all had a roast dinner which went down very well!! Four of the scouts were also invested at the camp along with the scout mascot Tikanni. Everyone seems to have really enjoy themselves. This is what four of them had to say about it.

I loved the stay at Caddihoe. I had a great time. I enjoyed going on hikes and playing wide games. I enjoyed collecting wood for the camp fire. Especially when our fire that Damien helped us make was better than the Explores Scouts fire. It was great when we toasted marshmallows also I enjoyed cooking with Ian. I enjoyed camping at Caddihoe. We did lots of muddy hikes, played wide games in the woods, learnt how to make a camp fire. Food was brilliant especially the roast. All the girls were in one room and the boys in another. All the leaders except Marie were in a room together downstairs and Marie was in a room on her own. I had a brilliant time; I can’t wait for the next one.

Caddihoe was really fun because of all the activities we done. My favourite activity was playing wide games in the wood. I also had fun around the camp fire. Also when we went for a night walk and we got lost. I also enjoyed playing with the dog and doing the quiz. At camp I enjoyed everything. I liked sleeping away somewhere else. I like sharing a room with the girls. I enjoyed the walks and what we done. I like getting invested. I loved playing the games and doing it as a team.
